Hi, my name is Jan Štefl, and I am a reliable handyman serving Prague and the surrounding areas. I'll gladly help you with furniture assembly, home maintenance, or deep cleaning - and we can communicate easily in both Czech and English.
I spent years working by the anvil and forge as an artistic blacksmith. Working with redhot iron quickly teaches you humility - you either have an eye for detail, patience, and a steady hand, or the result is simply worth nothing. I walked away with two principles that guide me to this day.
Millimeters matter, and honest craftsmanship cannot be rushed or faked.
Today, I no longer shape iron, but I have brought that exact same approach to home maintenance and repairs.
I don't pretend to be a jack-of-all-trades who does everything from electrical work to roofing. I only do what I am truly skilled at and where I can guarantee a perfect result. That's why I like to ask clients for photos beforehand - so I can tell you upfront whether I can handle the job flawlessly, or if it would be better to call a specialist.
I pride myself on honesty, clean work, and reliability. When we agree on something, I stand by it.
How to book my service?
To guarantee a 100% result, I need to know exactly what I am getting into. I do not take on jobs blindly.
- Send me photos: Share photos of the area or the item that needs fixing, repairing, or assembling. You can use the form below or send them directly to my WhatsApp.
- Assessment: Based on the photos, I will evaluate whether I can deliver the job to the high standard I stand by. If so, I will confirm a date with you. If I know the job requires a highly specialized professional (such as an electrician), I will tell you upfront and decline the job.

My price reflects my experience, professional equipment, and a guarantee of quality. There are no unpleasant surprises, hidden parking fees, wear and tear on tools, or mileage charges.

What is already included in the price: Travel, parking, basic consumables (standard wall plugs and screws), complete cleanup of the workspace, and 100% precision.
